Belarus 24

“Belarus 24” is the first international satellite channel of the Republic of Belarus intended to reflect the Belarusian and international, political, social, and cultural realities proposing to foreign viewers objective information about the main events in the country and in the world.

TV-Channel “Belarus 24” forms a part of the National State Teleradiocompany of the Republic of Belarus, which also includes the TV-Channels “Belarus 1”, “Belarus 2”, “Belarus 3”, five regional TV and Radio Associations, the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio, radio channel “Culture”, radio stations “Belarus”, “Stolitsa” and “Radius-FM”.

“Belarus 24” - new project of National State Teleradiocompany of the Republic of Belarus which appeared as a result of reorganization of “Belarus-TV” which started broadcast from February 1, 2005 for the FSU countries and beyond for foreign viewers.

“Belarus 24” - it is conceptually new design, new logotype, new studio, fundamentally changed line-up. New programs and faces have appeared on the air. Well known popular projects are in renewed format.

"Belarus 24" is a state TV-Channel which broadcasts 24 hours a day beyond the limits of its country and guarantees informational ties of ethnic Belarusians with their historical Motherland. The broadcast is realized in Belarusian and Russian languages.

The goals of TV-Channel “Belarus 24” is the expansion of the Belarusian informational presence on the former Soviet Union territory and the world, the formation of a positive image and the consolidation of the authority of the Republic of Belarus in the international arena.
